All drivers are essential to the economy. From the truck drivers who carry and haul our goods and fuel to us, to the bus drivers for those who depend on them. Just as crucial are the van and car drivers who fetch those essentials to their homes and offices, as well as those who commute to their work by private transport whether by car or motorcycle. The train driver who commutes to his train, the bus driver who commutes to his bus, the ambulance and police, nurses and doctors too. Without drivers we would even lose water, an essential basic need. Then there are the aged and ill who depend on friends and relatives who drive too. So one thing is for sure, drivers are not the enemy of the State to be treated as though they are. Neither should illogical anti driver ideology be encouraged by our government and politicians either.
