Cycling on the Highway is undoubtedly dangerous
In this story by we again hear that, whilst all other road casualties are reducing, Cyclists killed & seriously injured has risen. To much knashing of teeth and wailing about this, again it's the fault of the drivers with calls for more slowing of a major economic infrastructure, the claim that 'cycling is safe' and calls for more 20 MPH Zones to 'Save lives' is an avoidance and denial of a reality.
Here is the reality:
Road cycling is literally an exposed person mixing & mingling with large essential fast moving machinery operated by complete strangers of very diverse ability and skill.
By definition it kills people
