Here is a discussion with Ian Cawsey and Keith Peat on Election TV Debates

Ian Cawsey is a lovely man. He was the MP for Brigg & Goole from 1997 until he was deposed at the 2010 elections after Gordon Brown's disasterous decision to allow TV Leader debates during the campaign period. A very good constituency MP who would have been greatly missed there and will be a good, proven, candidate should he stand again.

In this series of tweets, Ian supports the TV Debates and Keith argues the reasons why they are not appropriate for UK elections. This is a unique opportunity for the reader to decide, by seeing a full discussion, if we should have leader debates during an election.  Or more to the point, have the comments about David Cameron & public rights been so valid?
